An odd story to follow: serendipitously while in an auction, I bought red wine and red after shock. I intended to mull the red wine. However, sadly I discovered that I had no mulling syrup left, which I normally buy from majestic. I attempted to make do with some muslin sacks of mulling spices but the wine was not sweet enough. As a last resort, I put the red after shock in with the wine. I was amazed at the results. I have called the drink “Bloody Shocking”. Please feel free to try it and you shall see why.
